Amir Fida Paracha belongs to a well known ‘Paracha’ family of Rawalpindi. Paracha family is recognized among the notable and leading business community of the country with the fantastic backdrop of political, social and humanitarian services.

Mr. Amir, a renowned socio-political figure, completed his LLB degree from University of the Punjab. Prior to his current assignment, he has been a practicing advocate representing the clients effectively in front of Rawalpindi High Court and District Courts in various matters like criminal and civil litigations about land disputes as well as tax & banking related matters; in association with Sardar Latif Khan Khosa Law Chambers.

He is Member of Central Executive Committee (CEC) of Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) and Spokesperson to President PPP, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari. Amir Fida Paracha was elected as Member of Punjab Assembly in 2002 and also served as Chairman National Trust for Population Welfare (NATPOW).

The honorable Prime Minister, Islamic Republic of Pakistan gave him the responsibility to serve Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal as Managing Director, on June 28, 2022.
