Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Islamabad, H.E Ms. Jeannette Seppen has acknowledged the quality medical treatment facilities for the poor and deserving patients of thalassemia under the umbrella of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM). During his visit to Pakistan Thalassemia Centre he was greeted by Managing Director of PBM Barrister Abid Waheed Sheikh. The Ambassador was given a tour the centre’s treatment ward and pathological lab. Barrister Abid Waheed, on this occasion highlighted various steps taken for ensuring socio-economic rights to the most vulnerable groups. He told that more than 200 deserving patients of thalassemia from all over the country have been accommodated so far in Pakistan Thalassemia Centre.While appreciating Managing Director PBM, , H.E Ms. Jeannette Seppen ,Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands pledged to extend cooperation with PBM in poverty reduction and social development in the country.
