Economic & Commercial Counselor of China in Pakistan Wang Zhihva has appreciated the eminent pro-poor services of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM). During his visit to Pakistan Thalassemia Centre and Pakistan Sweet Home here in Islamabad along with Managing Director PBM Aon Abbas Buppi, he admired the organization’s role for providing the basic amenities to the neglected populace of the country. Dy. MD PBM Mubashar Hassan and Joint Secretary China, Ministry of Economic Affairs Division Ch. Muhammad Aslam were also present on the occasion. During his visit he was given a detailed briefing about the ongoing projects of PBM. While highlighting the Thalasemia Centre, MD PBM informed the respected guest that the centre has been extending quality healthcare facilities including medicines and blood transfusion free of charge to the poor thalassemia patients. Managing Director also told that PBM is going to establish seven (7) more thalassemia centres to accommodate the poor patients of far-flung and deprived areas of the country. Counselor of China in Pakistan, during the visit of treatment ward, met with the patients under treatment there and inquired about their health. Afterwards, the Counselor paid visit to Pakistan Sweet Home, a centre of PBM where orphan children are being provided home like facilities including quality education, food, clothing and accommodation. Appreciating the efforts of MD PBM, he vowed to extend humanitarian assistance to these vulnerable natives of the country on the platform of PBM. While talking to media, MD PBM Aon Abbas Buppi said that Pakistan is having core bonding with China the friendship between two countries well regarded and trusted.
