Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, Malik Zaheer Abbas inquiring about the health of a patient at Jinnah Hospital, Lahore

Malik Zaheer Abbas led Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) committed to mitigate the sufferings of the poor patients making the procedure easier for treatment in public sector hospitals. During his visit to Jinnah Hospital in Lahore, Managing Director PBM, Malik Zaheer Abbas expressed his motivation towards quick relief to the poor patients suffering from cancer, cardiac, kidney, thalassemaia and other major or minor diseases. Reiterating the government’s resolution for accommodating the vulnerable community, he said that PBM, with its vibrant and effective pro-poor services, is one of the main components of Government’s social security system under the umbrella of Ehsass Programme.
Speaking the occasion, Managing Director PBM, said that digital transformation and e-governance is already being introduced within the organization to accelerate its humanitarian services. He further highlighted his determination to work on effective and comprehensive strategies to address the poverty and its allied issues so that our future generation may not suffer the thorny issues of poverty.
On the occasion, Managing Director paid visit to different wards of the hospital and met with the PBM sponsored patients to ease their problems in treatment. Later on, he also visited the Jinnah Burn Unit, built collaboratively by PBM and Jinnah Hospital. Malik Zaheer Abbas also met with the patients under treatment their and presented gifts to them.
