“Children translate and determine the future of a nation. If they are not cared and trained the future of a nation is endangered.” This was stated by Managing Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM), Aon Abbas Buppi while addressing a National Conference on Child Rights in Pakistan, organized by International Islamic University. Faculty members, philanthropists, and social activists were present among the large number of students on this occasion. The Managing Director underlined various initiatives of PBM that are protecting the basic rights of children from poor families. He said that in order to keep them away from the dark shadows of helplessness, loneliness and sense of deprivation, the vulnerable and orphan children are being benefitted with healthcare, education, food, clothing and other basic needs of life as visualized by Prime Minister Imran Khan. PBM’s Managing Director also provoked the need of shared responsibility towards healthy and obliging environment where everyone comes forward to help the vulnerable persons of the country.
